Constance E. “Connie” Ano, 84, of Lake Street in Rouses Point passed away Monday January 30, 2017 at UVM Health Network CVPH in Plattsburgh. She was born in Au Sable Forks on October 25, 1932 daughter of the late Claude and Viola (Stanley) Ano.
Connie worked at the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center retiring in 1985. She enjoyed camping, the outdoors, 31, playing cards, shuffle board and spending time with her family.
Connie is survived by her children; Claude Barse and his wife Christine of Morristown, Patricia Recor and her husband Danny of Watertown, Stacy Reif and her husband Joe of Plattsburgh, her siblings; Norine Starr and her husband Lin of Winchester, VA, Barbara Spooner and her husband Gil of Keeseville, Linda Depo of Winchester, VA., eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a son Charles Jr., and three brothers, Calvin, Francis and Roger.
Calling hours will be Friday February 3, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM in the Heald Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be Saturday February 4, 2017 at 12:00 Noon in Sunnyside Cemetery in Morristown.
