R. Scott Gough

R. Scott Gough, most affectionately known as "Scotty", 68, passed away unexpectedly with his loving family by his side. He was born October 31, 1949 to William N. Gough and Alice Wood Gough. He is survived by his son, Eric S. Gough, his daughter in law Christin and two beloved granddaughters. He is also survived by his brother William Gough, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother John W. Gough.
Scott retired from New York State Department of Corrections in 2001 after 30 years of service. After retirement he enjoyed his family, cooking, gardening, boating, and spending time with his many friends and neighbors.
Calling hours will be Wednesday March 7th from 4PM to 7 PM at Heald Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Funeral Service will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at a later date in St. Elizabeth's Cemetery in Elizabethtown.
As a lifelong animal lover, the family asks that donations in Scotts memory be made to Saratoga County Animal Shelter or your local animal shelter.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Heald Funeral Home, 7521 Court Street, Elizabethtown, New York.
