Velma M. Drew, 73, of Route 9N in Keeseville, passed away Monday August 15, 2016 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Chazy Lake on February 27, 1943 daughter of the late Arthur and Beatrice (Baker) Fassett.
Velma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed playing cards, dice, camping and talking to her friends and family.
Velma is survived by her husband Richard Drew of Keeseville, one daughter Star Matott and her husband Joe of Plattsburgh, one son Jeffery Drew and his wife Heidi of Eureka, CA., one brother Roswell Fassett of Beekmantown, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Friday August 19, 2016 at Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM in the Heald Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
