Walter A. LaPier, 58, of West Chazy, left us on February 16, 2017, to go to his eternal resting place. He was born in Plattsburgh to Donald and Gail (Terpstra) LaPier.
He will be missed by everyone he touched while he was here. Walter enjoyed spending time watching NASCAR with his brothers and friends at the shack! He was a big Dale Earnhardt fan. Before his illness he was employed at O'Brien's Plaza.
Left to cherish his memories are his beloved companion Eva Seymour, his parents Donald and Gail Lapier, his siblings Donna and Jim Gogg Andy and Karen LaPier, Debby and David Defayette, Paula LaPier , Judy LaPier, Charlie and Penny LaPier, Marvin and Rose LaPier and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, Tuesday Feb 21, 2017 at Heald Funeral home 48 Court St. Plattsburgh. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Walter’s memory may be made to the family.
