Brian R. Waldron

Brian R. Waldron, 65, of Clark Road, Peru and formerly of Clinton Street, Redford, passed away on May 21, 2014 at the CVPH Medical Center, surrounded by his family. Brian was born in Plattsburgh on July 23, 1948 the son of Raymond and Jeanette (Dupraw) Waldron.
On April 12, 1969 he married Constance M. (Wood) Waldron. She predeceased him on January 25, 2007.
Brian served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict, and later served in the Reserves. He was employed as a machinist for Pratt Whitney in Connecticut for many years until retiring and moving back to Redford. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 1618 in Saranac. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Brian is survived by his children; Scott and Cindy Waldron of Redford, Candice and Jamie Clark of Peru, and Paula Roy of Keeseville, his grandchildren Scott Waldron Jr., Kayla Waldron, Stephia Vann, Lakota Clark, Hailey, Marly and Mallorie Waldron and Lynzee Roy, step grandchildren Chelsea and Mike Alexander; brothers William Waldron and his companion Sandra Reed of Chazy Lake, Jack and Cathy Waldron of Saranac, sisters Claudia (Sue) and Donald Nelson of Saranac, Donna Couture of Saranac, and Cherie and Rob Sands of Milton, Vermont; his in-laws Cheryl Pryor of Florida, Jerry Wood and his companion Jan Kline of Plattsburgh, Todd and Pam Wood of Redford, Boyd Wood and his companion Colleen Josiwick of Dannemora, and Tracie and Roger Hutti of Plattsburgh; several friends, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Terry Waldron in 2006, and his sister-in-law Terry Wood in 1968, and his step granddaughter Courtney Alexander in 2009.
The family will receive guests Tuesday May 27, 2014 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Church of the Assumption in Redford. A Mass will follow at 6:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Church of the Assumption Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Saranac Rescue Squad or the Peru Rescue Squad.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh.
