Carol M. Tripp, 71, of the Irish Settlement Road in Plattsburgh passed away Friday September 19, 2014 at the Clinton County Nursing Home in Plattsburgh. She was born May 5, 1943 in Plattsburgh to the late Harold E. and Anna (Rinn) Bruce.
Carol Tripp was a caring and loving person who would do anything for anybody. She used to love camping, be around family, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be missed by many.
Carol is survived by her husband Robert “Joe” Tripp of 31 years, her children; Richard Boland and his daughter Anna, Sandra Nephew and her husband Allan and their children Joshua and Jessica, Stacey Boland and his wife Nancy and their children Elizabeth and Taylor, step sons; Allen Tripp and his wife Shelly and their children Joshua and Courtney, Randy Tripp and his wife Millie, step daughters; Josie Tripp and Pebbles Stewart and her children Emma and Jordan, Carol’s sister; Beverly Supernaw and her husband Bert, and her Aunt Catherine Wilson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Carol is predeceased by a brother Lyman Bruce.
There will be no calling hours. Funeral services and burial are private and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are incomplete and have been entrusted to the Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street in Plattsburgh.
