Donna M. Jennette, 89, passed away Sunday June 14, 2020, peacefully with her son by her side . Born in Plattsburgh to Edgar and Electa (Bourgerie) Guay on June 10, 1931. She was currently residing at the Clinton County Nursing Home and formerly from South Peru St. and Johnson Ave.
Donna graduated from Peru Central School, went to college in Boston, MA., as she then worked for Dr. Bock as a medical Secretary. She then married Roland Jennette October 25, 1953 and became a housewife and mother.
She leaves behind a daughter, Darleen Mazzillo and son in law Joseph of Orlando, FL., a son Ricky L. Jennette and daughter in law Patricia of Morrisonville, three grandchildren, Heather Mazzillo, Angela Fox and Sarah Frechette, three great grandchildren, Lexi, Riley and Ava, and a sister in law Doris Guay. She will be deeply missed. She is predeceased by her husband of almost fifty years, her parents, two sisters Arlene Bombardier and Gloria St. Denis and a brother Edgar Guay, Jr.
Services and burial, in Mt. Carmel cemetery, will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Donna’s memory may be made to the St. Joseph’s Soup Kitchen or St. Alexander’s Church in Morrisonville.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh.
