Doris O. Whitten

Doris O. Whitten died unexpectedly in Granville NY on Monday April 25, 2016. Doris was born November 3, 1936 in Easley SC.
Doris was devoted to her family and her church.
Doris is survived by her sister and brother in-law Karen & Richard Brinkmann of Lewis NY, and her sister in-law Mary Jane Owens (and her family) of Cranford NJ., her son Frankie and wife Marybeth Whitten, her grandchildren Stephanie and Corey all from Vermont. As well as her beloved cat Smokey. Doris is predeceased by her two brothers Glenn & Gene Owens, and her mother Ruth Owens.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday May1st @1:00 at the Reber Methodist Church, in Reber, NY.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Marvin-Heald Funeral Home, 7521 Court Street, Elizabethtown.
