Edward W. “Ed” Hoskins, 63, of Cook Road in Whallonsburg, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday January 12, 2016 at his home. He was born in Plattsburgh on January 25, 1953 son of the late Vernon and Florence (Cross) Hoskins.
Ed was an avid Yankee fan. He enjoyed watching birds, horse shows, camping, fishing and enjoyed traveling.
Ed is survived by his wife the former Audrey Crowningshield of Whallonsburg, one son Christopher Hoskins and his wife Rebecca of Westport, two sisters; Jayne Carter and her husband Richard of Willsboro, Judy Hoskins of Willsboro, a granddaughter LeeAnn Hoskins and her fiancé Walter Sprague of Port Henry, a niece Erica Cain and her husband Robert of Willsboro, a great niece Mackenzie Cain and great nephew Jason Cain both of Willsboro.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in the New Burt Cemetery in Essex.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Marvin-Heald Funeral Home, 7521 Court Street, Elizabethtown.
