Janet Nero

Janet L. Nero, 67 of Route 9N in Clintonville passed away Sunday November 10, 2013 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born June 24, 1946 in Poughkeepsie daughter of the late Harold and Ellenor (Snider) Burgher. Janet Graduated in 1986 with an AAS Medical Secretary degree from North Country Community College. She was office manager for Dr. M. Don George from 1986-1988. Janet worked from 1998-2006 at North Star Behavioral Health Services. Janet is survived by her long time companion Ross Sartwell of Clintonville, her two sons Fredrick Nero and his wife Jennifer (Shortridge) Nero of Racine Ohio, David Nero of Wilmington NC., two step daughters Pauline Osher and Husband Elvis of Peru, Geana Nephew and husband Edward, also of Peru. Janet is also survived by several grandchildren. Calling hours will be Thursday November 14, 2013 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 8:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at a later date and at the convenience of the family.
