Janice A Dorey 60 of Troy NY., passed away unexpectedly while visiting her sister and brother in law on Saturday June 18. Janice was born in Plattsburgh at CVPH on August 27, 1955. Janice fought a courageous battle for 2-1/2 yrs with lung cancer.
She was a devoted mother sister and grandmother. She served time in the U.S. Air Force, She worked for Radio Shack for many years as a manager and she was a member of the senior bingo club in Keeseville, Janice loved bingo.
She is survived by her mother Gladys Reome of Plattsburgh, her step mother Beverly Lashway of Willsboro, her sisters and brothers Linda and Tim Dombrowski of Willsboro, Steven Lashway of Plattsburgh, Daniel and Tammy Lashway of West Chazy, Monica Lashway Lifgren of Austin Texas, Terry and Pam Lashway of Charleston S.C. Her Children Jammie Hastings of Troy, Jennifer Hastings of Hampton Virginia, and Janice's beloved Grand children Nevaeh, Tfari, Andre, Nathen, and Jenna Lee along with many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. Jan predeceased her father Dale Lashway, her sister Christine Caron (Lashway) and her step father Ezriel Reome.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday June 30, 2016 at St. Phillip of Jesus Church in Willsboro.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Heald Funeral Home, 7521 Court Street, Elizabethtown NY.
