Kathy Mae Smith

Kathy Mae Smith, 67, of Morrisonville, passed away at CVPH on Thursday, December 16, 2021. Kathy was born on May 10, 1954, at CVPH in Plattsburgh to William and Doris Duval. She grew up in Peru, NY and graduated from Peru Central School in 1972.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Roy, of 48 years and their three children – sons, Stacey, and Will Smith (fiancé Jill Parent), and daughter Dawn Holder (husband Michael), three grandchildren, Devin LaMonda, Cheyanne Kitterle (Smith), and Matthias Smith and one greatgrandchild, Elijiah Kitterle. She also leaves behind her brothers and sisters: Wayne Duval (ex-wife Theresa), Harold Duval (ex-wife Ida), Alan Duval, Robert Duval (wife Sara), Terry Bushey (husband Martin), Cindy Martineau (husband Ronald), Jaqueline Martineau (husband Darrell), and Tina Duval. She also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, William, and Doris Duval.
Celebration of Life will be held 5:00 PM Wednesday December 22, 2021 at the Mosaic Church in Cadyville. Graveside services will be 12:00 Noon Thursday December 23, 2021 at the Schuyler Falls Cemetery.
