Keith McIntyre

Keith S. “Mac” “Boppie” McIntyre,77, of Morrisonville, passed away Thursday July 25, 2013 at his home. He was born in Titusville, PA. on December 10, 1935 son of the late Harold and Gertrude (Zerres) McIntyre.
He attended Titusville High School. Keith had a bachelor’s degree in general studies from The University of Nebraska at Omaha. He served in the Air force for 21 yrs, stationed in Turkey, Japan, Panama and Vietnam. Keith retired in1975 at the rank of SMSGT. During his military career he was awarded the Bronze Star. He also served at Clinton Correctional Facility for 18 yrs from 1981-1991 and retired a Lieutenant. Keith's Hobbies/interests included Coin and Stamp collecting, playing scrabble and the word jumble in the daily paper. He has been involved in Charities/organizations including the Rotary Club, Kiwanas, and Habitat for Humanity.
Keith is survived by two daughters- Kimberly Lang and her husband David of Gainsville, FL and Iris Porter and her husband Edward of Bloomingdale, three Brothers-Larry McIntyre and his wife Betty of Elyria, OH, Dan McIntyre of Tittusville, PA and Ron McIntyre of Lititz, PA., mother-in-law Winnie Kautz of Sandusky, OH. three Granddaughters; Amanda Lang of Gainsville, FL, Kelsie Gillman of Dannemora, and Brittany Gillman of Plattsburgh, three Grandsons; Nick Lang of Gainsville, FL. Trevor McIntyre of Plattsburgh, and Aaron McIntyre of Morrisonville, one great-grandson Connor Favaro of Morrisonville. Keith is predeceased by his wife Linda McIntyre, daughter-Cynthia McIntyre, Sister-in-Law Barbara McIntyre, mother in law Iris Kautz A memorial service will be held Saturday August 3, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Whiteface Community United Methodist Church in Wilmington. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Oakland Cemetery in Sandusky, Ohio.
