Leon E. Geno 78 of Plattsburgh passed away September 2, 2012 at his home with his loving family by his side under the care of Hospice. He was born in Plattsburgh on February 4, 1934 to William and Viola (Lashway) Geno.
He served in the Army and then pursued a career in plumbing and heating. He enjoyed playing guitar and singing with friends and family. He spread smiles with his quick wit and sense of humor.
Leon is survived by two children, Tammy Coryea & her husband Joe, Carol Andre & her husband Matt, two grandchildren, Heath and John Andre, his brother, Harold Geno of Plattsburgh and sister, Barbara Nuss of California also several nieces and nephews. By request, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service with military honors will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday September 4, 2012 in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh.
