Mae A. LaVarnway

Mae A. LaVarnway, 88, of Saranac passed away Thursday July 30, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Altona on May 30, 1932 daughter of the late Herbert and Vena (Goodman) LaBarge.
Mae worked with her late husband Ray on Ramark Farm for many years. She was the secretary of the Holstein Association, the Belgian Draft Horse Association and 4-H leader. Mae also was a substitute mail carrier for several years. She had many accomplishments, being most proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mae is survived by her children; Kathleen (Robert) LaHart, Mark (Cindy) LaVarnway, Susan Relation, Nancy (Guy) Falcon, grandchildren; Amy, Abby, Anna, James, Travis, Jason, Kelley, Katie, Kyle, Stephen, Christopher, great grandchildren; Eve, Lily, Will, Jenna, London, Leighton, Lawson, Ava, Cora, Grace, Wyatt, Carter, Emmalyn and Hunter, one sister Carol (Lawrence) Boulrice one brother Wayne (Jeanette) LaBarge, a brother in law Clarence LaFountain and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Ray and a sister Janice LaFountain.
Services and burial are private and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh.
