Margaret A. “Peggy” LaRose, 75, of Route 73 in Keene Valley passed away Monday December 9, 2019, surrounded by her loving family at UVM Health Network CVPH in Plattsburgh. She was born in Keene Valley on June 13, 1944 daughter of the late Royal and Besse (Woods) Tallman.
Peggy is survived by her daughters; Sharon Wagar of Troy, Michelle “Shelly” Geiger of Wilmington, her grandchildren; Randi Welch, Marty LaRose, Makenzee Bruce, Tucker Ladeau, Taylor Geiger, five great grandchildren; Ellie and Koplend Welch, Malaki Bushey, Alexander and Rowan LaRose, a niece Kim Vanderlaan and her beloved St. Benard, Babe. She is predeceased by her companion Eloise Endicott, two daughters Sheryl Bruce, Melissa LaRose and a sister Grace Demming.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 PM Friday December 13, 2019 at the Keene Valley Congregational Church in Keene Valley. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Keene Valley Fire Department.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Heald Funeral Home, 7521 Court Street, Elizabethtown.
