Margaret L. Monico, 72 of Champlain, passed away Monday June 10, 2019 at UVM Health Network-CVPH in Plattsburgh. She was born in Elizabethtown on February 12, 1947 daughter of the late Joseph and Laura (Duquette) LaBare. Margaret married the love of her life, Roger Monico, on July 10, 2004. She will be remembered by many for her love of family and friends. Margaret enjoyed being a JCEO volunteer driver, visiting, and helping those she loved.
She leaves behind sisters Cecelia (Lionel) Robert and Peggy (Rodney) Ducharme both of Rouses Point, brother Francis (Irene) LaBare of Orlando, FL, as well as many nieces, nephews and several friends she thought as family. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, and sisters, Ramona Baker and Anita Snide.
Calling hours will be from 10:00 to 11:30 Am Saturday June 15, 2019 at Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh. A funeral service will be at 11:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Rouses Point.
