Nelson H. Oliver

Mr. Nelson H. Oliver, 75, of Flynn Ave., passed away Tuesday October 6, 2015 at UVM Health Network CVPH in Plattsburgh. He was born in Saranac on July 20, 1940 to the late Howard Parsons and Margaret Irene (Cutler) Oliver.
Nelson is survived by his wife of 45 years, the former Kay Crawford of Plattsburgh, six step children; Dwight Bell and his wife Vikki of Yorktown, VA., Denise Philo and her husband Doug of Plattsburgh, Darcy Case and her husband Carey of West Chazy, Dana Simpson and her husband Steve of Clermont, FL., Danelle Pelkey and her husband Thomas of Plattsburgh, Debra O’Bar of Plattburgh, one sister Sue Oliver of Peru, his uncle Michael Cutler and his wife Beverly, twelve grandchildren; Carissa, Ali, Luke, Shad, Seth, Brennan, Taylor, Cade, Addison, Cynamon, Mikayla, and Kobe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday October 8, 2015 in the Saranac Independence Cemetery in Saranac.
In lieu of flowers donations in Nelson’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
