Patricia M. "Pat" Smith

Patricia M. “Pat” Smith, 69, of Beede Lane in Keene Valley passed away Monday October 3, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Plattsburgh on April 28, 1947 daughter of Dewey and Eva (Lincoln) Lawrence.
Patricia is survived by her 3 children, Tina, Todd and Guy smith of Keene Valley, her mother Eva, and her 8 loving grand children.
Patricia was a nurse, an educator, and director of nursing of 2 nursing homes for many years. Most of her many years in her field where spent working at Uhlien Mercy Center in Lake Placid, where she spent her life caring for the elderly, and teaching others to strive for excellence, compassion, and professionalism at all times. She will be greatly missed by many people who's lives she touched thru her dedication and knowledge of her profession.
The family will receive guests at Patricia’s home from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM on Saturday October 8, 2016. A celebration of her life will follow at 4:00 PM.
