Richard A. “Corky” Griffin, 71, of Lewis passed away unexpectedly, Monday August 30, 2021 at his home. He was born in Lewis on October 7, 1949 son of the late Benjamin Hastings and Evalina Griffin.
Corky worked form Cornwright’s Lumber Mill for many years.
He is survived by his children; Roger Griffin of Au Sable Forks, John Griffin of Putnam Valley, Lisia Griffin of Lewis, his grandchildren; Samantha, Thomas, Roger, Jr., Justine, Montana, Kaitlyn, Taylor, Clarissa and Piper.
Calling hours will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday September 1, 2021 at Heald Funeral Home, 7521 Court Street, Elizabethtown. A graveside service will be celebrated 11:00 AM in Lewis Cemetery with Rev. David Sullivan from Church of the Good Shepherd officiating.
