Robert A. "Bob" Douglas

Robert A. “Bob” Douglas, 76, of Cornelia St., passed away Monday October 14, 2019 at UVM Health Network CVPH in Plattsburgh. He was born in March 29, 1943 in Plattsburgh son of the late Thomas F. and Mildred (Lucia) Douglas.
Bob graduated from Mount Assumption High School, Siena College, (ROTC), before joining the U.S. Army. He worked for Symonds Precision and Goodrich as a Planner, in the Aerospace program for 35 years. Bob enjoyed following the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Bob was an avid supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Bob is survived by his brother Thomas E. Douglas of West Chazy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Thursday October 24, 2019 at St. Peter’s Church in Plattsburgh. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in West Chazy.
Donations in bob’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh.
