Ronald was predeceased by his wife Judith(Judy Premore)Spies, his parents, Philip and Anna (Roth)Spies and brother Richard (Ellen)Spies.
He is survived by his children Virginia(Ginger)Spies and Ronald E.(Marlene)Spies. Two grandchildren. Katlin (Shelby)Spies and Roxanne (Jason Broomall) Wood. Three great-grandchildren, Aricka and Hayden Spies and Sayben Broomall.
Ronald served in the United States Air Force 1956-1962. He retired from the State of New York Department of Correction in 1996 from Lyon Mountain Correctional Facility.
