Stephen Lippacher, age 69 of Peru,NY passed away on Saturday, December 12 at home. He was born August 25, 1951 in Saranac Lake, NY. He married Tammy Darrah,June 26,1976 in Cadyville, NY.
Steve enlisted in the navy in 1968, serving in Vietnam and on the USS Kitty Hawk. He was honorably discharged in 1970.
From 1978 to 1981 he drove truck for North American Van Lines, a job he loved seeing the country. In 1984 he started at NYS Department of Corrections until his retirement in 2010.
Steve is survived by his wife of 44 years, Tammy and his son Kyle. His brothers Mark and Scott both of Johnsonville, NY. He is preceded by his father William Lippacher, his mother Diane Earley,his stepfather Howard Earley, his brother Alan and sister Linda.
There will be no services per Steve's wishes. If desired friends may make memorial donations in his name to H.K. Freedman Renal Center in Plattsburgh. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Craig Hurwitz, Matthew Cook, Lindsey, Bri, and Amy at Northern Nephrology for their care.
