Wayne Peterson

Wayne G. Peterson, 62, of the Keene Valley Neighborhood House passed away Friday October 4, 2013 at the Elizabethtown Community Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was born in Plattsburgh on June 19, 1951 son of the late John L. and Gloria R. (Baker) Peterson. Wayne graduated from Plattsburgh High School. He then enlisted in the US Marine Corps. After his service to his country, Wayne worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Troy and Plattsburgh for several years. He lived life to its fullest. Wayne is survived by two brothers; Larry Peterson of Plattsburgh, Steven Peterson and his companion Paula Dankowski of Plattsburgh and three nieces; Almeda Cadieux, Shawny Cadieux, and Elizabeth Peterson. He is predeceased by one brother Daniel D. Peterson. Calling hours will be Monday October 7, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM in the Heald Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
